Despre AFAM
Brief history
The association of Women Entrepreneurs (AFAM) is an NGO that was created in the year 2013, out of the 9 founding members, and has the mission of supporting the growth of women's potential in the field of entrepreneurship and management in the Republic of Moldova.
AFAM promote the empowerment of women entrepreneurs and women in positions of leadership as an important factor of economic development, local and national:
- the encouragement and advancement of women, who want to start their own business;
- the support of women in the development and growth of their businesses;
- the increase in the number of women in senior management positions at various levels;
- to contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem favorable to women.
In the 8 years of activity, AFAM has carried out more than 250 events and projects for member states, and the general public, having regard to the quality of the partner institutions and associations, national, and international businesses, international donors in the Republic of Moldova, and the other key players in the business.
Currently, the AFAM comprising 70 members, from more than 20 fields of activity.

Why are AFAM ?
AFAM is one of a network with members in more than 20 industries. A monthly basis, members are also invited to at least 3 of the events and activities of a business, or lifestyle.
In the context of the Association, are groups of communication-through which you can get in touch with other member states, and to establish partnerships. In the same way, you can take advantage of the recommendations and advice from other members AFAM.
The association of Women's Antreprenore of Moldova provides for the limbs of a wide range of events, and business, lifestyle, contributing to the increase in the capacity and the development of personal and profesioanală of them.
AFAM is a member of the economic Council to the Prime minister of the Republic of Moldova, where they represent the interests of the limbs, and identify solutions to the problems that they face in the business.
AFAM organizes more than 50 events in the fields of business and lifestyle. All of the projects and the activities are for the benefit of the limbs, and they contain useful information for women entrepreneurs from all walks of life and at different stages of the development of the business.
AFAM is a partner in the many conferences and trainings ranging from Moldova is, in particular, with the participation of speakers of strangers. The result of these partnerships, the limbs of AFAM benefit from the discounts on the purchase of the ticket and the participation of other items.
AFAM mission
The mission of the Association is to support the growth of female potential in the entrepreneurial and managerial field in the Republic of Moldova.
Promoting the affirmation of women entrepreneurs and women in leadership positions as an important factor of local and National Economic Development through:
- Encouraging and promoting women who want to start their own businesses;
- Supporting the development and growth of their own businesses by women;
- Increasing the number of women in leadership positions at different levels;
- Contributing to the development of women-friendly entrepreneurial ecosystem.
