The AFAM mission is to support the growth of women`s potential in entrepreneurship and management in the Republic of Moldova.

We promote the empowerment of women entrepreneurs and women in leadership positions as an important element in local and national economic development by:

  • Encouraging and promoting women who want to start their own businesses;
  • Supporting the development and growth of women -owned companies;
  • Increasing the number of women in leadership positions at various levels;
  • Contributing to the development of a favorable business ecosystem for women.

On behalf of the Moldovan Businesswomen's Association, its founders, members and the Board of Directors, I am optimistic about the role of the organization in fulfilling its mission to promote and support the growth of female entrepreneurial and managerial potential in the Republic of Moldova. My dream is that all girls and women in the Republic of Moldova will be treated equally with men in all aspects of political, economic and social life, be recognized, respected and TRULY APPRECIATED. I am confident that by joining forces with the private sector, civil society, the public sector and development partners we will succeed in building a friendlier society for female entrepreneurship and leadership to flourish and empowerment to be real. We aim to promote success stories and large-scale projects that contribute to sustainable and inclusive community development. We believe that when women have a seat at the table and their voices are heard, society will experience sustainable wealth and confidence in the future.

A member of the Association can be any women who owns or runs her own company, is self-employed (freelancer), intends to start her own business, holds a management position in a company, runs a non-governmental organization or is leader and opinion leader, who promotes the involvement of women in business, professionals, as well as foreign nationals, women without citizenship, who recognize and support the objectives of the Association.

If you want to become an AFAM member, you need to go through the following steps:
  1. Fill in the membership form
  2. Receive a letter confirming that your request has been accepted by the AFAM Board of Directors.
  3. Pay the membership fee and the one-time accession fee within 30 days. During this period you are invited and have access to AFAM activities.
  4. Welcome to AFAM!
